What You Think About You Bring About

I have shared in recent emails that my daughter Mary just bought a farm. Mary owns Farmacy Herbs in Providence and now she will have more land to grow and harvest herbs, as well as have some of her own animals. Mary has dreamed of owning her own farm since she was 16 and she’s now 35! One year ago she found a farm in W. Greenwich that she fell in love with. It was a lot of money and she didn’t have any money! But that didn’t stop her from dreaming and visualizing herself on that farm. A short time after that, the farm was taken off the market.

A few months ago, a friend who is also a farmer told Mary about a loan she received through the USDA. Mary contacted them immediately to see if she would be eligible. One of the requirements was that she should be in business as a farmer for 3 years and that was exactly how long her business had been operating. She contacted the owner of the farm and asked if they were still interested is selling the farm. They said “Yes.” She applied for the loan and the best part was that the price of the farm was significantly lower than last year. She was also able to get the loan at an interest rate of 1 ½%. It is totally amazing that she was given a loan with no credit of her own. Mary also has plans on giving retreats and workshops at the farm.

My whole family was there to help Mary move in. I felt really excited for her as we unpacked the boxes and found the perfect spot for everything. My excitement was doubled as I visualized my family helping me move into my house on the water, which has been my dream for many years. I even have a picture of my dream house on the water in my intention book that I pray with daily.

I told Mary how I visualized my house on the water as we were unpacking boxes and she said, “Mom, you have to start looking for houses on the water now.” “But, I don’t have that kind of money for a house on the water,” I said. “It doesn’t matter, I didn’t have any money either and look what happened.” Wow, wasn’t that great wisdom coming from my daughter. I followed Mary’s wisdom and have started looking for houses on the water. I trust that the right and perfect house will show up and the money will come easily and effortlessly.

What you think about, you bring about.  Although it took many years, Mary never gave up on her dream to have her own farm.  I will not give up on my dream to have a house of the water. Think positive, believe and visualize that good that  is coming into your life. Have faith that dreams do come true and watch the miracles happen.

What are you thinking about? Are you bringing about what you are thinking about?

  1. Pat,
I am so happy for your daughter! Dreams do come true! I am excited that you are looking for your home by the water. I know it is there for you.
My daughters were the inspiration I needed when I started my business. I am truly living my dream teaching women and sharing the peace and beauty of my home by the water.
